Wat Mahathat Wat Mahathat is believed to be one of Ayutthaya's oldest temples. The temple include remains of important old buildings such as pagodas, octagonal pagodas, royal hall, small temples, murals under a Bodhi tree, and the famous sand-stone Ayutthaya-style head of the Buddha image in a tree's root. It is one of several monuments that date back to the Khmer era. The monument in the center of Lopburi town is perhaps best known for the large number of monkeys that run around free, constantly on the lookout for food. We only pick up from hotels in a few selected areas in Bangkok: Khao San Road and Siam Square. If you do not stay in a hotel in one of these areas, the meeting point is our office in Chao Khamrop Road in Chinatown. IMPORTANT: The exact meeting/departure time will be informed in a private message via the booking platform the day before before the tour. Departure time can be between 07:30-08:00 hrs depending on the number of participants on your travel date. Please carefully check your message the day before.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
