This desert dinner experience stands out by taking travelers to the luxury recreation of a *caravanserai*—historically a small settlement and rest stop for travelers passing along established trade routes. Take a scenic drive from your hotel directly to the camp and enjoy an evening of henna art, camel rides, palm readings, and more traditional activities. Then, enjoy a barbecue banquet accompanied by belly dancing, Tanura dancing, and fire shows.
A vital part of caravan-based trade was the caravanserai – small settlements built in the desert to act as resting stops for traders and travelers passing along the established trade routes. These settlements meant that people could travel greater distances and trade more freely. Take the unique opportunity to see our stunningly recreated Caravanserai with a modern luxury twist, in an authentic desert setting. After your hotel pickup, enjoy a scenic drive in a private air-conditioned vehicle and continue to the Caravanserai camp for the evening's entertainment. Enjoy traditional Arabian activities such as henna art, palm reading, camel riding, falcon interaction and browse at the traditional souq. Savor a delicious luxury banquet with live BBQ stations, and lounge on cushions to enjoy various different entertainment acts, many of which are traditional to the region, such as belly dancing, Tanura dancing and a daring fire show under the desert stars.
